Mid July Update! Act 1 News


Hello, everyone! It is officially the middle point of July, and like I promised, I am back here with another devlog :]

An Onymus - Perhaps One Day Act 1 is in the works, lots of learning, lots of failed attempts, reworking some stuff is hard but we're getting there! Currently Act 1 is meant to be divided in three days, and the first day is already 50% done! Three characters are being introduced to the main part of the story, and the major one has been introduced already. Today is the day I return to college, so this devlog is also an announcement that updates might get a little shorter from now on. I will still keep updating, expect Act 1 this year still, hopefully!!

Like I mentioned in the previous devlog, The order I am focusing on the upcoming tasks is: dialogue -> spritework -> background work -> special events scenes, so therefore we won't get any artwork updates until dialogue has been 100% completed, which means the entire act, routes, options and the next intermission. I believe writing is something I can do in a rather fast way, so I am not worried about that part. So far, my laptop is also working extremely well, so I believe I can finally move on and stop worrying about it suddenly breaking or anything haha, let's do our best and soon the game shall be updated with the next act! I'm really, really excited for you all to know more about my characters :]
